First post for Jan 2008, and nearly at the end of Jan too.. Well, suppose I gotta keep it to Raine Tradition. Posting on like, practically the last day of any given month.
Christmas was quiet, as usual. Well, as it's been for the last couple of years since my brother and I grew up and so did my cousins. It's more of an oldschool gaming day now, when we get together and pull out the old Nintendo 64 and play Perfect Dark. Good times.
I applied for leave off work for mid Feb, which was rejected :/ So that's a bit irritating.. We'll see if things change but if not, looks like my summer holiday up the coast, our re-inactment of Schoolies, is not gonna happen.
Grandmother passed away the other week, so flew to New Zealand for the funeral. Got back on mon (2 days ago) and I'm straight back to work. Uni restarts at the end of Feb so I better enjoy the last month I got off eh.
Things are good though, stuff happens which can be ... Unfortunate. But even so, things are looking alright where I'm standing.
I do miss talking to some of my online friends. I don't seem to have enough time with work at the moment.. Paul and Nee. And most of all, Barb. Geeh, I suck a bit as a friend sometimes.
